Golf Croquet 101 Series

The Kansas City Croquet Club is kicking off a new Thursday night Golf Croquet 101 Series for beginners through advanced players this Thursday at Eagles’ Landing Golf Course in Belton, Missouri. These Thursday sessions will run eight weeks through August 18. The evening starts at 6:30 p.m. on the driving range tee box. A free 20-minute intro and skills beginner lesson will be offered each week to kick off the evening with doubles/singles games being played after. The cost to play after the intro clinic is $50 for the full eight-week session or $10 per session. The discount rate for Seniors (60 and up) and Juniors (21 and under) is $30 for full session or $5 per. Fees are paid in the Eagles’ Landing Pro Shop.

As mentioned, each evening will have a free intro session where we will teach the rules, proper stance and grip. In addition, to those basics, we’ll have an emphasis to work on each week:

07/14 — Rules, Grip, Stance, EMPHASIS: Jump Shots
07/21 — Rules, Grip, Stance, EMPHASIS: Blocking
07/28 — Rules, Grip, Stance, EMPHASIS: Clear and Stick
08/04 — Rules, Grip, Stance, EMPHASIS: Distance Drills
08/11 — Rules, Grip, Stance, EMPHASIS: Tactics I
08/18 — Rules, Grip, Stance, EMPHASIS: Tactics II
